Cancellation policy

You can cancel your Retainx subscription at any time. This policy explains how to cancel, when the cancellation takes effect, and what happens to your data afterward.
How to cancel
- Open the dashboard and go to Settings, then Billing.
- Select Cancel subscription and confirm.
- Your cancellation is recorded immediately and your Razorpay subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current billing cycle.
- If you cannot access the dashboard, email billing@retainx.in from your registered email and we will cancel for you.
When cancellation takes effect
- You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no mid cycle cut off.
- After that date your organisation moves to the free plan, with free plan limits.
- Refunds, where applicable, follow the refund policy.
What happens to your data
- You get a 30 day grace period from the cancellation date to export your data: customers, transactions, messages, and reports, as CSV and PDF.
- After 30 days, customer and transaction data is deleted, except records we must keep for tax and legal reasons.
- You may request immediate deletion instead of waiting out the grace period. Deletion is irreversible.
Failed payments and automatic suspension
If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay retries per its standard schedule. After 4 failed retries the subscription is halted and your account is suspended with a grace notification by email and WhatsApp. Suspended accounts retain data through the same 30 day export window before deletion.
Reactivation
You can resubscribe at any time. If you reactivate within the 30 day grace window, your data is restored. After deletion, you start fresh.
Summary: cancel from Settings, Billing. You keep access until the paid period ends. You then have 30 days to export everything before deletion. Immediate deletion is available on request.
